Our Managing Partner Henry Garrard has been appointed by the Court to serve as the lead lawyer for the plaintiffs in seven nationwide federal lawsuits involving mesh. Attorney Josh Wages, another of our partners, was appointed by the Court as a member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for a group of thousands of cases involving claims against seven different mesh manufacturers. Our partners Drew Hill and Jim Matthews have decades of trial experience handling complex cases involving serious injuries, medical malpractice, and product liability, including mesh devices. We have represented – and continue to represent – clients from across the country who have suffered injuries as a result of defective mesh products, and we have successfully resolved claims on behalf of many of our clients.  In 2010, our legal team took a consolidated mesh case to trial before a jury in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia (the case was resolved confidentially prior to the verdict). In 2013, our firm took the first MDL case to trial in the Southern District of West Virginia, resulting in the first verdict in that historic litigation. Our firm successfully handled the appeal in that case, and we continue to be involved in the leadership of the mesh litigation.
